Evolution is learned behavior

My older brother sort of believes in evolution, you know, to a certain degree. And I think it’s only because as a child, I remember my parents telling him, “Look at you in that tree. You’re a little monkey. Aren’t you a monkey?”

I believe in evolution pretty definitively, but I still have my questions. And I think it’s because as a kid I remember my parents saying to me, “Look at you in that swimming pool. You’re a little fish, aren’t you? Like a little fishy swimming in the water. Cute little fishy.”

However, my younger brother REALLY believes in evolution. And I think it’s because as a child, I remember my parents telling him, “Look at you in that Petri dish. You’re just a little primordial soup, aren’t you? A little inanimate matter that spurns the production of amino acids organized into proteins, mediated by nucleic acids to create life. A little abiogenesis. Yes you are. Yes you are.”
